We have had several unfortunate incidents recently involving dog attacks in our neighborhood. There was an incident last week where two dogs attacked a cat, which subsequently died and another dog was in serious condition. Animal Control was notified, and the owners voluntarily removed the dogs from Deerwood. A few days later, a boy was walking with two dogs not on leash, and those dogs attacked a dog being walked on leash by a resident.

Please make sure you understand the covenants and city ordinances regarding animals. DIA intends to fully support residents who have been threatened or resident's whose animals have been attacked by requiring the removal of the offending animal.
